1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, installing the Asaani mobile app, using the Asaani WhatsApp bot, or otherwise accessing asaani.app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Asaani AI is a voice-powered receipt and stock management tool for small businesses. You send a voice note or message and the Service uses AI to turn it into a structured receipt or stock update. Features, availability, and pricing may change over time.
3. Your Account
- You create an account through our WhatsApp bot, using your WhatsApp number as your account identifier.
- You must provide accurate information, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and WhatsApp access secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country (at least 18, or the age of majority where you live).
- New accounts may require review or approval before full access is granted.
4. Credits
Asaani uses a prepaid credit system. Credits are used as you consume the Service (for example, roughly one credit per second of audio processed).
- Credits may be added to your account through payment methods we make available from time to time, or earned through activities such as reward ads and WhatsApp interactions.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable between accounts, and can only be redeemed inside the Service.
- Once credits are consumed, they are not returned. Refunds for unused credits are considered on a case-by-case basis; contact [email protected] if you believe you have a valid request.
- Credit pricing and the rate at which credits are consumed may change going forward. We'll announce material changes through the app or our website.
- We may expire credits on accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, after reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the Service you agree NOT to:
- Break any applicable law (including tax, consumer-protection, or anti-fraud laws).
- Send content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Use the Service to deceive customers or misrepresent transactions.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written permission.
- Share an account, or try to circumvent credit limits or admin approval.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
The Asaani software, brand, designs, and underlying technology belong to Asaani AI and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business.
You retain ownership of the business data you create through the Service (for example your receipts, stock records, and customer lists). You grant us the limited rights needed to process and display that data back to you while you use the Service.
7. AI-Generated Output
The Service uses third-party AI models (including Google Gemini and OpenAI) to transcribe and structure receipts. AI output can contain mistakes — including wrong items, prices, or totals. You are responsible for reviewing any generated receipt before issuing it to a customer or relying on it for accounting, tax, or legal purposes. Asaani is a tool, not a substitute for your own verification.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third parties (for example, WhatsApp / Meta, and the AI providers listed above). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or actions of third-party providers that are outside our control.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or 100% accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asaani AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue part or all of the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
